The Real Spoken Portuguese: Foundations course is currently open for enrollment

This course is for anyone who wants to learn everyday spoken Brazilian Portuguese from scratch.

With my clear, step-by-step method, I will guide you from your very first words to basic conversations in just a few months.

Most of the topics covered in the course fall under the A1-A2 (pre-intermediate) levels.

Just bring your commitment and a willingness to practice, and you’ll be amazed at how quickly you improve!

The course prepares you for conversations you’re likely to have when meeting a Brazilian—discussing family, travel, language learning, preferences, hobbies, work, opinions, aspirations, and much more.

More importantly, you’ll gain an understanding of how the language works—so instead of just memorizing a bunch of random sentences, you’ll have the foundation to be able to express your own unique thoughts.

Every new word is carefully chosen and introduced in a way that reinforces previously learned concepts, ensuring a natural and structured progression.

To make learning more immersive, I incorporate real-world examples from songs, video clips, and social media, bringing the concepts to life in an engaging and practical way.

The course is divided into 25 lessons with around 11.5 hours of total content (~28 minutes per lesson on average).

The lessons include detailed study notes with insights on grammar essentials, regional variations, and the key differences between how natives speak versus write.

It's a self-paced program, so you can take the course however you want. But if you follow my recommended schedule, it'll take around 3 months to complete.

The course is hosted through an online course platform called Kajabi, and can be accessed on any device you like: computer, tablet, or phone. 

Although you do need internet access to watch the videos, each lesson comes with an audio file which you can download and listen to offline through the Kajabi mobile app. This is a great way to review a lesson on the go!
